This tour is a sampling of bioenergy companies. Participants will see and hear first hand why investing in bioenergy makes sense. The tour will make stops at:
  1. First United Ethanol – a 100 million gallon corn ethanol facility under construction, operational Fall 2008

  2. Hurst Boilers – a maker of biomass boilers aimed at reducing or eliminating energy and waste disposal costs

  3. Langdale Industries – Timber processing facility, biomass boiler and OSB plant

  4. World Ethanol – a paulownia tree research facility, plywood operation and ethanol facility


Motor coach tour will depart UGA-Tifton Campus Conference Center at 8 a.m. and return by 5 p.m. Tour is free to conference registrants. Lunch is included.
