Mr. Fagen, Founder, Chief Executive Officer and President of Fagen, Inc. has over 35 years of field experience as well as project management and business experience. A true entrepreneur, Ron Fagen founded Fagen, Inc. in 1988. Since then the firm has expanded to employ over 3000 people nationwide. The Fagen organization now includes Fagen Engineering, LLC (founded in 1996) as well as two regional offices. In 2005, Ron Fagen was inducted into the Minnesota Business Hall of Fame.

Fagen, Inc. is nationally recognized as the largest green energy design-builder in the U.S., credited with having built 65% to 70% of the nation’s ethanol capacity. Fagen, Inc. has a diversified portfolio in the green energy design-build field that includes not only ethanol plants, but also wind farms, “clean coal technology” power plants, and corn and soybean processing facilities.

Ron Fagen is a co-founder of U.S. BioEnergy, a leading ethanol producer that recently merged with VeraSun Energy Corp, creating the largest ethanol producer in North America.

Mr. Fagen served a tour of duty in Viet Nam in the Army’s 4th Infantry Division. He is an avid WWII aircraft collector as well as an accomplished aerobatic pilot.
