Philip Coffin is Principal of the John Stewart & Associates Minnesota Branch. He is a Minnesota native and attended the University of Minnesota, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics. Mr. Coffin has 30 years experience in agricultural trading, processing, exporting and logistics. He managed the procurement staff for CHS, the largest US agricultural cooperative. Later, he served as Senior Trader and logistics manager for LD Commodities, a global commodity trading and shipping company. In 2006 Mr. Coffin joined John Stewart & Associates. JS&A is a leading risk management consulting company and futures broker concentrating in the biofuels industry. In his present role, Phil offers market analysis, consulting and brokerage services to a wide variety of clients in the agricultural sector.
