
Alexis Slagle Gilroy is a partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in Washington, D.C., where she advises clients on a wide range of corporate, renewable energy, healthcare, and renewable energy issues.
A member of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia and State Bar of Georgia, Ms. Gilroy provides strategic advice, negotiates, and documents transactions involving private debt and equity, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, governance issues, licensing requirements, corporate reorganizations, project development, commercial transactions, and general and complex contractual arrangements, primarily in the renewable energy and healthcare industries.
She's authored or been featured in numerous publications and articles, including:"The Clock is Ticking—Are You Ready for the EPA's New Green House Gas Reporting Requirements?; and "CMS Issues Final 2010 Payment and Policy Changes for Acute Care and Long Term Care Hospitals."
In 2010, Ms. Gilroy was accepted as a Population Health Associate (non-faculty affiliate) with the Jefferson School of Population Health at Thomas Jefferson University.
Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, Ms. Gilroy worked as an associate with Epstein Becker & Green and Alston & Bird in DC.
Ms. Gilroy earned a Juris Doctor from American University, Washington College of Law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors and distinction, as a Morehead Scholar and Dean’s Fellow from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
