Morten Neraas (49) is the Senior Vice President of Green Circle Bio Energy Inc., with responsibility for the commercial, financial and logistics areas. He was employee number two in the organization after the CEO and has been involved in building the business from its inception in 2006 to its successful operating phase today. In this period, Morten has been responsible for securing financing, procurement management, developing the financial management system, conducting market analysis, negotiating and securing shorter and longer term contracts and establishing the logistics operation from plant to overseas markets.

Prior to this, Morten held various management positions for entrepreneurial businesses in the U.S. with responsibility for sales, marketing, logistics and finance.

Morten was born and grew up in Bergen, Norway, and received his Master of Science and Economics degree from the Norwegian School of Management, specializing in Business Management and Information Technology. Since 1989, Morten has lived and worked in the U.S., most of the time in the U.S. South East.

Morten is married to Marliene and has one daughter, Lina (10).
