With over 20 years of experience in agricultural research and business development, Dr. Panter has held positions in both public and private sectors; with specialization in the areas of plant breeding and biotechnology. Don joined Mendel Biotechnology, Inc. in early 2010 as Senior Vice President for Mendel BioEnergy Seeds and is responsible for product development and commercialization activities in the BioEnergy Crops development program. Prior to joining Mendel, Dr. Panter held positions as Senior V.P. for Crop Development at Targeted Growth, Inc. and President of Sustainable Oils, LLC, a joint venture between Targeted Growth, Inc and Green Earth Fuels, LLC.; V.P. for Technology at Renewable Agricultural Energy, Inc. of Boulder, CO, and V.P.; and Chief Technology Officer for Emergent Genetics, Inc. in Memphis, TN.
